Work has commenced on our second album The Inheritance.

Dave McCluney at Atlantis Sound Studios in Port Melbourne recorded the band live to tape over the weekend of February 26 and 27. Six songs were tracked in two days. Most overdubs and some vocal takes were completed during the same period.

The eventual plan is to have a full album of 8 tracks mixed and mastered and the album released by the end of 2011.

After a handful of rehearsals and one stellar show, our latest drummer, Pete Cuthbert, has decided to return to Scotland.
 
And so, we're once again bidding farewell to a true gentleman and a great musician. He will be missed.

Thankfully, we recorded our live set with Pete at the Departed Sounds label launch at the Northcote Uniting Church held late last year.

The first show for 2011 will be a solo show. I'll be opening for the remarkable Marlon Winterbourne Movement at the Toff in Town on Thursday 20th January - details on the Shows page.
